I tried setting "wildmode=list:full", and "more", (wildchar is set to
<Tab> per default) and typing your sequence (":he bl<Tab><BS>"), but
everything worked properly with vim showing me the help about the
available keys while browsing the possible completions for "bl".

Are you still able to reproduce the bug? I'm not.
