Question about 3rd-party packaging of Vim syntax highlighting macros

Right, but still please create the .yaml file following what you saw in
vim-latexsuite (basically this means list all the stuff you install
under /usr/share/vim/addons, that should amount to syntax/* and
ftdetect/kuip.vim).

In the near future /usr/share/vim/addons can cease to be in the default
vim runtime path and the .yaml file will help to automatically enable
your vim addons upon package installation.
