Well, not really, here we discuss the packaging of Vim in the Debian
distribution, not necessarily all kind of Vim addons related to Debian.
But don't worry, it's not a big deal.

My suggestion is to post it to vim.org anyhow, then you will get
feedback for a much broader user community.  Once your script is used
by people I don't see any reason for including it in Debian, say, as a
part of vim-scripts.
