noautoindent option doesn't work in vim on etch

Hi All,

I wasn't sure about filing a bug report, in part because I'm
not sure if the problem is with noautoindent or nosmartindent.

What I do know is that on my Etch systems when running vim with
the default vimrc file, vim indents when I insert lines in files
such as /etc/vim/vimrc.

I tried including "noautoindent" and "nosmartindent" in the vimrc
file and with ":set". In any permutation vim continues to auto-
indent. Also, when I run ":set all" it shows that noautoindent
is set.

Please let me know if you need me to fill out a bug report.

Thanks!

c
