Yes. Here's how I reproduce it:

/media/net$ mount | grep smbnetfs
smbnetfs on /media/net type fuse.smbnetfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,allow_other)
/media/net$ vim /usr/share/doc/debian-policy/changelog.gz
Vim: Caught deadly signal SEGV

Vim: Finished.
<many empty lines>
Segmentation fault
