Thank you very much for reporting the bug, I'm the other user from #debian. Let me add that the problem also disappears for me when downgrading vim to version 7.3.280-1. On the other hand upgrading vim to version 7.3.333-1 and/or upgrading libpython2.7 to version 2.7.2-7 from sid does not seem to make a difference.
