audacity patch -- was it submitted upstream? was it accepted? any
reference?

./debian/patches/audacity-portmixer.patch seems to be missing that
information

to me it sounds like a worthwhile TODO for future upload of a next
debian (or upstream) revision of pa and imho shouldn't stop upload to at
least experimental of a version without the patch.  Benefits: additional
testing of pristine PA, allow to separate out possible regression
introduced by the patch.

NB ideally it would be worth checking on possible FTBFS with newer PA snapshot
for all build-dependent packages... if you point me to .dsc for a tentative
version for upload I could take care about that.
