[Pkg-xen-devel] Halt/Reboot problems

Yesterday I took two machines (both running Xen) down. When I booted
them back up I had a whole mess of problems. First (which I finally got
solved), is that the domains were saved, but the saved state got
corrupted. This caused the machines to go into a continuous cycle of
reboots. Second, I found out that I cannot shutdown or reboot my
machines. I have not run into this problem other then with Xen.
Basically, if shutdown the machine, it stays with "Power Down" at the
bottom of the screen once the sequence is done. Likewise for "Restart."
I could understand the halt problem if there was something related to
ACPI. However, why can I not reset the machines? This is a real
problem since I am often remote from the machines and if I need to
restart (e.g., for a kernel upgrade) and the machine can't come back up
on its own, then I have a rather serious problem. Any help or
suggestions would be appreciated.
