I use it every day and it works just fine for me and I know others do
too.

Perhaps if you would describe what doesn't work for you we could work to
fix it, but the above isn't really very helpful, is it?

Eventually xend will most likely go away, so you need to speak up about
your specific issues with xl sooner rather than later, otherwise you may
find yourself left high and dry at some point.
