This is not specific to Debian, but the bug is visible only with some
optimized strcpy versions; in particular the code that triggered the
problem for me was in sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/strcpy.S (strcpy with
SSSE3) from eglibc-2.11.2.

So, if you want to reproduce the problem, you may need an x86_64 with
SSSE3 support, and a recent glibc.
