Please note that oython 2.5 is NOT a supported version in Etch, so this
bug isn't grave at all. The bug was closed while Etch was frozen, and
the release team notified. They didn't consider to fix this for Etch at
that time, so I'm not going to bother them again. But I can make sure
soappy goes into backports.org, as soon as the latest version hit Lenny.
