[Python-modules-team] __init__.py files of submodules not being included in .deb

Hello,

I was just preparing python-foolscap-0.4.0+dfsg-1 and noticed that for
some reason __init__.py files of some submodules are not being included
in the .deb file. 

The files in question are foolscap/slicers/__init__.py and
foolscap/logging/__init__.py.

I have been trying to analyze this problem for nearly an hour now and
wasn't able to figure out why this is happening. The files are present
even after the call to dh_pysupport in debian/rules, but somehow vanish
afterwards.

Does someone have an idea why this is happening and how to fix it?
