[Python-modules-team] Bug#589145: python-simpleparse: Provided grammar does not parse floats correctly

Thomas Fischbacher t.fischbacher at soton.ac.uk
Thu Jul 15 10:58:09 UTC 2010

Package: python-simpleparse
Version: 2.1.0a1-3
Severity: important

In the file:

 /usr/share/python-support/python-simpleparse/simpleparse/common/numbers.py

the grammar for floats does not recognize numbers such as 1e20, as it
assumes that explicit_base will have to contain a decimal dot.
