[Python-modules-team] Bug#572624: setuptools doesn't consider pycairo egg installed whereas python-cairo package is installed

Package: python-cairo
Version: 1.8.8-1+b1
Severity: normal

Using setuptools to build an egg that depends on pycairo, I get a regular egg file but when I try to install it locally with easy_install, easy_install complains pycairo is not installed and tries to download it. As "python-cairo" package is installed on my system, I suppose easy_install should consider pycairo is available.
