I had no problem with the Ubuntu one for normal use. However, I
installed reportbug from git (5.1.1). With the same
/etc/dpkg/origins/gnu as above, I got the same listing of package
options. When I tried tro report a bug against emacs23-lucid, I got:

Getting status for emacs23-lucid...
A package named "emacs23-lucid" does not appear to be installed; do
you want to search for a similar-
looking filename in an installed package [Y|n|q|?]? n
Getting available info for emacs23-lucid...

Will send report to GNU (per request).
Querying GNU BTS for reports on emacs23 (source)...

long_message('No record of this package found.', title=title)
TypeError: long_message() got an unexpected keyword argument 'title'

and for emacs, I got no bug reports found, as before.

I don't know if it matters, because I am on natty I am using Python 2.7.
