Finding merged /usr bugs through reproducible builds?

if, I'd implemented for all builds on amd64+i386, to always do one build
with /usr-merged, and one without. And then it will take 2-3 weeks until
we have rebuild the whole archive for unstable/amd64.

to get an idea for how long it will take… just note that we've double
the build capacity for amd64 this week (and will soon do the same for
i386).


disclaimer: our main interest in this setup is to find reproducibility
issues. we are not really (that) interested to make this setup expose other
bugs as well, simple because we already "see too much" with it and seeing
even more distracts from what we really want to be looking at.
