[sane-devel] problems with microtek X6 scanner in TMA mode

Hallo,
as I tried again after one or two years (with system updates) to scan 
in TMA (transparent media adaptor) mode the scan failed, error 
message "Error during device I/O" and "Invalid coordinate". I used to 
work earlier. The debug log is attached. In normal scan mode 
everything works fine.
Setup
- Suse 8.2 / stock sane installation
- ASUS SC 200 SCSI Controller (NCR53810 Chip)
Any ideas? TIA
