Apologies for the mixup. I downloaded previous versions of sane first,
and the plustek addon, and in the end I didn't notice that 1.0.10-pre3 had
it already (I thought I added it there, as was necessary with the earlier version).
Anyway - that's good news, thanks.

The most annoying thing for end users is that the /dev devices don't exist
(on a Mandrake 9.0), I had to mknod for /dev/pt_drv and /dev/usbscanner...
But really: great job. I was not expecting the usb scanner to be supported yet :)
