[sane-devel] sane and color bit depth for fujitsu fi-6130

Hello,
I'm using SANE to acquire scans from a Fujitsu fi-6130, and I just noticed
that the mode=color option uses 8 bits of depth. The scanner itself is
capable of 24-bit color depth.
Is there a way to get a 24-bit scan from the sane-fujitsu backend? Or, at
least 16 bits?
I notice that the sane-epson backend,
http://www.sane-project.org/man/sane-epson.5.html, documents a --depth
option, but I don't see it in the fujitsu document,
http://www.sane-project.org/man/sane-fujitsu.5.html.
I appreciate any comments.
Thanks,
Arthur
