[sane-devel] is sane broken?

Hi everyone,

I have an Epson Perfection 2480 Photo scanner and it was working with 
sane. After a while I need this scanner again but it is not working anymore.
I got some "Pipe error" messages using sane-find-scanner. Is it broken?
