Dear list members,

as amavisd-milter is the logical successor to amavisd-new-milter and therefore
IMHO directly conntected with amavisd-new I wanted to hear your opinion on the
following matter. I'm planning to release an new version to unstable and
subsequently make a backport to Squeeze. Currently the amavisd-milter binary
package has the following lines in it:

Provides: amavisd-new-milter
Breaks: amavisd-new-milter (<= 1:2.6.4-2)
Replaces: amavisd-new-milter (<= 1:2.6.4-2)

As there is no transitional package for amavisd-new-milter I'm not sure if it
makes sense to keep this lines in the package, above all as amavisd-milter is
not a drop-in replacement. Being fairly new to Debian package maintaince and
given that amavisd-milter is directly connected to amavisd-new what is your
opion on this matter?

Thanks and kind regards
Harald Jenny
