Hi all,

The DPT project is somewhat hard to find. I've read the announcement on
Debian Weekly News, but had a hard time finding any more info on the
project...

It took my quite some URL hacking after I finally did the right guess:

http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/deb-usability-list/

I didn't succeed in finding a Debian Package Tags project page at
http://alioth.debian.org/ :(

I guess it'd be helpful if there were links to these pages from
http://debian.vitavonni.de/packagebrowser/ . The last page is the only
one announced to a wide audience.

So, now my real question: is it currently supported to have something
like

 Tags: monitoring, server, clock

in debian/control, similar to the current 'Section:' field? I guess
it's currently not supported; however, I believe it'd be very useful.

I'd like to read the debtags manpage, but can't: It should be available
=66rom "deb-src http://people.debian.org/~enrico/ local/source", but
http://people.debian.org/~enrico/dists/ doesn't exist :(

Could the debtags package get uploaded to the main Debian archive?

Bye,

Joost
