Bug#867926: do not mangle upstream version number

Upstream version number is 7.1-1, not 7.1.1.

We should stop mangling the number, to facilitate the functioning of
translation of CRAN dependencies to Debian dependencies.

This can be easily done if/when a new upstream version ≥ 7.2 is out.
