Bug#867927: do not mangle upstream version number

Upstream version number is 8.1-1, not 8.1.1.

We should stop mangling the number, to facilitate the functioning of
translation of CRAN dependencies to Debian dependencies.

This can be easily done if/when a new upstream version ≥ 8.2 is out.
