Hi,

PAM = Pluggable Authentication Modules

This the system that defines how users for the various services (e.g.
gdm, ssh...) are authenticated. Explore /etc/pam.d!

Note that the documentation of DeCaf is even sparser and targeted to
experienced Linux users, but feel free to ask here on the list.
