Hi Thorsten,

My bad, the upstream repository is wrong. I'll fix this, and also all
the long descriptions for all xstatic packages, which have been reviewed
by the debian-i18n-english team. FYI, the xstatic package is hosted here:

https://bitbucket.org/thomaswaldmann/xstatic

What confused me is that lots of xstatic packages moved from
bitbucket.org to github, and I thought it was the case for all of them,
though it's not for xstatic itself, xstatic-jquery, and xstatic-jquery-ui.

You can as well read about it over here:

http://readthedocs.org/docs/xstatic/en/latest/

But quickly, the goal is to have the same package to be used in a Python
virtualenv, so you can use "pip install" if you're using tox, and within
the distribution. The PyPi package embedds the static files (javascript,
fonts, css, etc.), while the Debian package removes them and depends on
the corresponding libjs-<whatever>. I think that's well explained in the
Pro/Con section on readthedocs.org.

I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any question.

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)
