Wow.  Care to disclose a bit more ?

As a general note, can we / shall we have a townhall meeting, say on Sat
'morning my time / afternoon everybody else ' ?  Or plus 6+, my afternoon,
your early eve, or ...

I am about to submit a paper to useR!2007 (on something else...) but plan to
help Steffen with the May 22 deadline for NETTAB and also write a paper for
useR for May 22.  I spoke briefly with one of the organisers (about something
else) and got the between the lines reading that the deadline is not that
'binding'.  And out topic REALLY belongs to useR.

Being a reader of both lists, I found your annoucement confusing because you
mentioned 'something about R, Debian and CRAN' yet I had no idea what you
were talking about....
