We can get you set up with svn access and everything. Mail me your
alioth ID and I'll add you to the project.

But just to eliminate all obstacles, please dump whatever you want to
write on this wiki page:

Make sub-pages if needed. Go wild. The most important thing is to get
everything recorded. We can sort and improve later, and put the right
stuff into the doc package. But it won't make it into lenny anyway, so
it might as well be put into the wiki.

Not really. After having written my share of DocBook and other SGML/XML
documents, I really prefer plain text, possibly using reStructuredText.
But once we get the actual words written, we can improve their structure
later.
