Exactly. Updating to evolution-data-server-common version 1.12 really stops the crash.

I just cannot. Upgrading evolution-common would remove evolution and evolution plugins, 
for example. I guess these packages are on the queue to Sid, and this takes little more 
time when you use an architecture other then i386. Packages like evolution and 
evolution-plugins are still in version 2.10 for most architectures.
