Hello,
The purpose of this warn statement is exactly to do this. exim 4.34 does
not support "submission-mode" - this was introduced in 4.40.

Could you be more substantial in your report? Is this a wishlist for
using control=submission instead of warn in 4.40 or are you asking for
a more comlete emulation with generation of Resent-Message-ID?
