I agree!

but I have 2 small problems...
(sorry if they have been reported already... in this list I found=20
nothing...)

I removed the old firebird1.03 completely with --purge and then=20
installed the new firebird2-superserver, so no old cruft was around...

But FB seems to run as root all the time, even though the initscript=20
wants to make it run as firebird...
The firebird user still exists on my system, and FB1.03 happily ran=20
under it.

Also it seems that php4 does not want to coexist with firebird2 yet...:
