I can confirm this. I see the same thing here. (Even with newest version
not in unstable.)

This is fixed in a version that is not yet uploaded. If you need it now
you could try packages from:

http://debian.sente.pl/fb2/1.5.1/

They work for me with php4-interbase.

find: ibwebadmin. You can download packages here:

They are tuned for firebird 1.5.x
