    I'd be happy to run that compilation, but my armel machine is headless,
so I can only run CLI tests: if you'd be able to give me instructions or a
short script that would exercise the segfault (and not fail in another way
because of the lack of video hardware), I can probably get a trace.

    Alternately, if compilation/testing in an Ubuntu Precise environment
would be acceptable, I have such an armhf device with video (and using
the same processor as the original reporter), and could test there.
