Yes, I think we should leave this until Evince 2.22 is in unstable at least.

A suggestion on point 3 (for whoever will implement it) -- please
consider the possibility to get rid of separate menu item and separate
window for Print Parameters, and move the functionality into main
Print Dialog. See how this is implemented in Gedit for example.
