I don't think that's necessary.  The bug is in the library and fixing
it does not require sourceful changes or some kind of action by the
apps package maintainers.

It is not actively developed AFAICS.  Maybe there are a few changes on
top of the Debian version but IMO it's not worth updating the giant
etoile package just because of dictionaryreader.app (the alternative
is to split it into a separate source package, which is still some
work and has to go through the NEW queue).
