  Hello,

  lots of time has passed but the bug is still open, and the patch is
  simple.

  We (the maintainers of the Italian festival voices) are considering
  NMUing festival to include the patch.

  We are now contacting Niko Tyni <ntyni at iki.fi> to ask if he would like
  to include their patch for #352351 in the same NMU.

  Once we coordinate with Niko, and if we don't get negative notice from
  Matthias, we'll prepare a proposed patch and mail it to the BTS.
