Just an humble comment from me as a newbie member...

Should the Debian Multimedia Team be a bit more open to new package
maintainers? More hands, make work a bit easier.... Wouldn't it be nice if
Hans, could maintain his two or more packages? They seems to be pretty new
though and dunno if they are stable....

Hans seems to be a pretty experienced developer though... working on Ardour
MIDI too...

I agree that the team can't accept just anyone.... but I think it shouldn't
also be too strict...
