[pkg-ntp-maintainers] Missing sntp binary in stretch

Hi,

#793837 refers to the missing sntp binary in ntp and has been resolved
in unstable. The sntp binary was in the ntp binary package for jessie
(even if by mistake) and will be again for buster, so the absence is
something of a regression. If I prepare a stable update patch for NTP
and send it over, would you consider asking SRM for a point release
update to add it back in stretch? The fact it's missing (for just this
release) is causing me a few problems with custom initramfs build scripts
so I have an incentive to help get it fixed.

Please CC me as per Reply-To as I'm not subscribed.

Thanks,

Mark
