That's fine, I mainly wanted to make the changes clear to you for review.

Certainly. I'm still not sure what to do about that patch and I'm happy 
to write an alternative one once some sort of consensus is reached for a 
good solution.

Yes, that's fine as well, I hadn't realized that there were no manpages 
in libparrot-dev.
