Hm ...
I don't think that's desirable from a group maintainance point of
view.

If the group is in Maintainer, then the group is responsible for the
packages, and that's very hard if they are "somewhere else" and not in
the common space where we can use our toolset (from PET and KGB over
mr until dpt). -- The reason for my mail was that `dpt co
libx11-keyboard-perl' failed horribly. And I only ran it because I
saw the ACCEPTED mail but never saw commits on IRC.

To put it the other way round: I wouldn't see the advantage of having
the Perl group as the maintainer of a package that is not maintained
under the umbrella of the Perl group.

So let me suggest to either move the repos to /git/pkg-perl [0] or to
change the maintainer if you prefer to keep them separate.
