Bug#808460: pulseaudio: In case of connection of a microphone to a frontal panel, the interlocutor doesn't hear me. In order that he heard me, it is necessary to come into settings and to select a frontal panel. After reset of the PC it is necessary to repeat procedure.

Could you please ask this question in the upstream mailing list?
AFAICT, this is because at some point the default mappings have
changed, but this is really a problem of the  upstream software as we
don't modify those mappings.
