Yup, the middle two were what Kevin suggested I try - the last one's
only in the tests, which we don't run (maybe we should but that's 
another story) (and the postgres patch is already included in our
packages).

The current issue I'm facing, though, is weird behaviour with pre
3.8.8 systems (3.8.7) where the 'Content' section of the ticket
display and modification area is blank. I've never used rtfm before,
so I'm guessing here, but it looks broken.

I'll do a bit more digging the next time I get a chance, but I just
wondered if this rang any bells.

Unfortunately the change made by upstream to our rt-setup-database
patch (which I subsequently updated in our RT package) has meant that
new database setups of rtfm are broken in unstable at the moment, so
I'd like to get fixed packages out soon.

All the fun of trying to squeeze in Debian work in the evenings...
