[Pkg-roundcube-maintainers] pristine-tar or not pristine-tar? repackaged tarballs?

Hi!

It looks like the upload of Roundcube version 0.5.4+dfsg-1 was made
without using pristine-tar for the new upstream tarball. Was that
intended?

If the 'dfsg' tag in the version number is a marker that these tarballs
are different than upstream ones. Vincent, is there a documentation
explaining how?

Adding a README.source file might be appropriate in describing how to
create a new repackaged tarball when upstream releases a new version.

Cheers,
