I got the transaction_metrics.rb error during the upgrade of ./play.it forge, but not the gitlab-sidekiq one. I suspect they are unrelated, and it might be worth opening a dedicated issue for the gitlab-sidekiq/sudo error to make it easier to find by other people.

By the way my container running GitLab does not even have the sudo command available, so it is surprising to see it in use on your own instance.
