you a right: Its probably not xmonad per se but on the other hand xmonad
is designed in a way that one configuration most likely will not fit
another, so I wouldn't wonder if some contrib module or say plays into
it.

However, this (and the other) bug is really creepy, wherever it might have its roots,
because its so hard to track. There are weeks where nothing bad happens
and then again it happens and will not go away unless I use a another
terminal. Very strange.
