Great! We've missed you! ;)

moreover the NMU closing the bug is not really the true fix as stated in
that bug report. It *WILL* need the newer openh323. In fact, as t38modem
also needs it, I plan to package the new versions for scud, but matter
of factly, this will be development releases, so we're back in
SONAME-hell. *sigh*

Any positive thoughts on how to _cleanly_ overcome this are welcome.

Please commit into branches/experimental.

They *will* break.

Yes.

The topmost problem above the others is the SONAME can't be reduced to
the major.minor part due to its nature as development release. That'll
keep us busy with SONAME updates, going through NEW.. the whole
madness..

Ok, this being said, we should just push it now. And if you love to play
guinea pig, just use
"deb http://archive.buildserver.net/build/debian sid main"
for the new dpkg snapshots of Raphael Hertzog's version with
dpkg-gensymbols containing the API/ABI checks.

I've been planning to roll them out on Buildserver.NET soon, yet I
haven't come round to actually doing so. Thus, as it'll come
nevertheless, we may as well find out right now.
