Regarding SMS by using asterisk

Dear developers,
Greetings,
I am a fresher and know some of the Linux commands. I started making use of
asterisk, i established audio cal and i am trying to do sms by using
asterisk.

Please help me. by browsing i thought installation of jabber will solve my
problem , but it wont. please help me.
