Hi all!

For the two packages I'm currently interested in, nxagent and nxcomp,
I'm currently doing the following:

 - Take latest upstream release from NoMachine (released a week and a
half ago)
 - Take current packaging from Debian
 - Merge packaging changes from x2go's git
 - Review all the commits in x2go's git and for these that touch the
code, generate debian/patches/ standard patches with a comment on what
they're doing and citing the author.
 - Review any outstanding patches that'd be in Debian/Ubuntu and not in
x2go's git (so far, none)
 - Add a few packaging fixes (to be merged back into x2go's once tested)

I have something that should be close to final for nxagent:
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/72045904/nxproxy_3.5.0-1-1ubuntu1%
2Bbuild3_source.changes

And I'll work on nxcomp today, then will rebuild nxagent with the new
nxcomp to make sure it still builds and then test both of them with x2go
and freenx/qtnx/binary client.
If that works, I'll push the packaging changes back to x2go and any
other changes I had to do.

So far, besides the "Additional packaging changes" listed in the above
changelog, I just had to update the nxagent manpage slightly to mention
both x2go and NX, patch attached (will send to x2go-dev along with the
rest of the patches a bit later).
