Sure, I've grabbed the new upstream and will have a look at building
later.

I suggested on IRC that we downgrade it to a Suggests.  I think this
will help everyone.

xarchiver pulls in a fair amount.  What about the thunar extensions?

I think I would say the xfce task should just pull in xfce4 and
xfce4-goodies.

We already depend on thunar in xfce4 and recommend: xfce4-mixer,
xfprint4, orage, xfce4-terminal, xfmedia

We could recommend xfburn there too.  Not sure about xarchiver but I'm
not averse to adding it.

xfburn should switch to wodim ideally too.

There shouldn't be any need to talk to the release managers I wouldn't
have thought given the lack of soname etc?

I don't have time to hack currently hardcoded stuff to be dynamic
upstream I'm afraid.  It's a good goal though.
