Hi,

I try to install my HP ScanJet on my linuxsystem, but he is still not
found
by theh sane-find-scanner - tool.

lsmod shows:

scanner:    7984     0


scanimage reports:

device` hp:/dev/usb/usbscanner1` is a Hewlett-Packard Model
flatbedscanner


/etc/sane.d/dll.conf and /usr/local/etc/sane.d/dll.conf:

hp


/etc/sane.d/hp.conf and /usr/local/etc/sane/hpconf:


/dev/usb/usbscanner1
    option connect-device


Any idea why the scanner is stillnot found?
